Beauty Quote: Donatella Versace

Today's beauty quote is said by Donatella Versace, a controversial woman, who is not a very big fan of natural beauty :)

Let's discuss - does the natural beauty still exist? Where are the natural beauty limits? Even Calvin Klein once said that it takes makeup to look natural...
And what is the meaning of "natural makeup"? What does it mean NATURAL to you?

  1. I love the idea of natural beauty. For many years I went without any makeup or chemical treatments for my hair. I still go without makeup on the days when I'm not blogging. It's just a different kind of beauty. It's not glamorous or sophisticated, it's just rather fresh looking.
And as for natural makeup.. I really like it, but in no way does it really look natural to me. It's too perfect. In a way, it's the most deceitful form of makeup. And I love it. :)
I really like it when you post these thought provoking quotes, and this was a really good one.

I still see many girls, women around me who don't use makeup products... Maybe "natural beauty" still exists :)
I like your makeup and I cannot imagine you without it! ;)

    1. I definitely look better with makeup, and I really enjoy playing with makeup. But, especially in the summer, I love not having to deal with wearing makeup. Sometimes it's just nice to have my face feel clean and natural. It helps that I have rather decent skin and don't generally have to worry about hiding breakouts or spotting.

  9. Natural make up for me is wearing a tinted moisturiser or bb cream and some mascara and lipbalm. Being a mum that still has dark circles I need concealer, I just don't like the tired look lol, so I guess its the no natural look for me that wins for when I go out, xoxo.

I'm happy that we all have days with no makeup at home, skin needs a rest. Going out is a different thing - we have to be on our toes;)

  10. I am not a fan of natural looks. But natural has to do something with vegetables..I don't think that vegetables are natural either :D To me natural sounds like something pale and colorless..
